Steamatic will officially launch ‘Rosie’, Australia’s latest weapon of mass restoration, at Steamatic in Braeside on Thursday 12th August, at 5pm.
Rosie is the largest vacuum freeze dryer in the southern hemisphere, an exciting new resource for disaster recovery, water damage restoration and exhibit maintenance. This new technology is unique to Steamatic and offers unprecedented support for recovery and restoration whenever disaster strikes.
“Forget the coffee beans!” said Steamatic CEO Oliver Threlfall, “No other process can arrest the deterioration of water-damaged documents and artifacts like Rosie can.”
According to Mr Threlfall, essential and invaluable items can now be saved, including maps, books, artworks, museum pieces, legal documents, business records, microfiche, x-rays, textiles, tapes and wedding albums.
With 61 cubic meters of vacuum space, Steamatic has been able to assist with large-scale flood damage as well as freeze drying seabed samples for scientific research and restoring historical artifacts found under water.
Mr Abbott and other VIPs attending the Official Launch will enjoy live, interactive demonstrations of Rosie and other restoration technologies.
“This is the culmination of years and investment,” said Mr Threlfall.
“Rosie represents $billions of savings in replacement costs or loss of irreplaceable archives or exhibits for clients such as insurance companies, legal firms, libraries, records storage houses, universities, hospitals, banks and individuals.”
Steamatic extends a warm invitation to members of the media to attend the Official Launch of its High Volume Vacuum Freeze Dryer, Rosie. Please RSVP on phone number or email address
