Structural Dehumidification
Damage can occur from water and soot resulting in floors buckling, acoustical tile damage, and water damage in dead air spaces between walls. Steamatic can perform dehumidification by two methods– refrigerant and desiccant. The most appropriate system is used depending on the climate and/or temperature. Steamatic’s custom techniques are used to dehumidify, clean, seal and deodorise hard surfaces and structures, even in difficult to access areas.
Dehumidifiers are installed to control moisture levels in both the structure and contents. Dehumidifiers pull moisture from the air and return warm, dry air. The process is assisted by high velocity air movers to evaporate moisture.
