Coastal NSW Flood Disaster: Steamatic Australia’s Successful Rapid Restoration

As Coastal NSW faced a deluge of rainfall over Easter, communities were thrust into the throes of widespread flash flooding – the last thing they wanted over the long Easter weekend! Declared a natural disaster by the state of NSW, the entire NSW coast bore the brunt of at least 200 millimetres, and in some areas, upwards of 400mm of rainfall. As planned, Steamatic Australia enacted our Category Disaster Response, mobilising crews from around the state to respond to the influx of restoration work, providing essential support to the affected communities.
Responding to NSW Flood Damage
Our teams, from the Northern Rivers to Batemans Bay, Central Coast to Newcastle, Sydney to Central West, and beyond, have been on the ground since the event, working tirelessly to assess and restore affected properties. We understand the urgency of the situation; our aim is to make an assessment and act within 24 hours of being sent to a flood damaged site, ensuring swift restoration to prevent further structural damage and mould growth. Quick action is the key to restoring properties, and it is something we take great pride in.
