Battling Double Trouble: Overcoming Fire and Graffiti Vandalism

In a distressing incident, a three-bedroom property fell victim to the destructive forces of fire and graffiti vandalism. The aftermath left the interior marred with graffiti, Venetian blinds beyond restoration, shattered windows, and the haunting memory of a fire within. In the face of this dual challenge, a comprehensive solution was needed to restore the property to its former glory.

The Challenge:

The vandalism inflicted extensive damage, both aesthetically and structurally. The graffiti-covered walls, irreparable venetian blinds, and broken windows posed a significant threat to the property’s integrity and the well-being of its occupants. The fire further exacerbated the situation, leaving a trail of destruction that demanded swift and expert intervention.

Fire and Graffiti Vandalism Solution:

To tackle this complex issue, Steamatic stepped in with a strategic and meticulous plan. The first phase involved concentrated fire damage cleaning, targeting every nook and cranny of the property’s interior. Recognising the irreparable state of the Venetian blinds, Steamatic swiftly removed them, making way for the restoration process.

Following the fire damage cleanup, the focus shifted to the shattered windows. In the interest of health and safety, Steamatic carefully removed all the broken and loose glass. To safeguard the property during the restoration period, timber window boards were strategically placed, forming a protective barrier until new glass could be installed.

This multi-faceted approach not only addressed the immediate concerns but also laid the foundation for a comprehensive restoration, ensuring that every aspect of the property affected by fire and vandalism received the attention it required.
